On her red wyvern (Thanks to that badass secret area in the previous mission), i just send her solo and wipe out everything on her path right now. Tier 1 and 2 melee units actually heal her more than hurting her while ranged units tickle her. (Well, she could get that one anyway as learnable skill) Killed the first waves of the elven court's armies too, but haven't spotted the king yet.Īnd while doing this, you really got a good point with the heroes and rushes.Įspecially Sundren is utterly busted now because of a weapon giving her life leech and first strike. Well, looks like i won't be missing much and will move on.įinal mission is going on well right now, eliminated the two southern commonwealth ai's and tagged the emperor, but i am not sure if it worked because while he did suffered from the teleport debuff, a freaking scouting drone finished his last few hp off. (As I did, but then I quickly started playing random maps anyway, as those allow for a much more freeform playstyle.)Īh, so the campaign plays parallel then because i assumed it would be a sequel. Finally, they're quite a bit harder.Īll in all it's up to you, but don't feel compelled to finish the Commonwealth campaign first. The DLC campaigns are also much shorter (3 missions each instead of 5 branching ones) though the maps themselves are generally more complex. Generally speaking I think the DLC campaigns are much more fun than the core campaigns (which I felt relied too much on plot critical heroes and rewarded early game rushes with said heroes too much). The Commonwealth campaign would explain more about what is going on, and one or two of its characters appear in the DLC at some point, but you won't miss much by just moving on. The DLC campaigns are separate stories, but they assume the good ending of the Elven court campaign as canon.
